The handling of personal data which is collected on the site is regulated by Italian law and, specifically, the personal data protection code (Legislative Decree of 30 June 2003, no. 196, hereafter, “Privacy Code”).
The Privacy Code guarantees that the handling of personal data will respect fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as the dignity of the individual involved, particularly in terms of privacy, personal identity and the right to protection of personal data.

Type of handled data
Information collected automatically
Some information is collected through automated systems when simply by surfing the site.
Specifically, during Web-surfing, servers will automatically record information such as the URL of the originating site of the user, the IP address of the computer being used, the type of browser being used, the time of the request, the result of the request (for example – error, success, etc.), the size of the file sent in response and other parameters relating to the operating system and the IT environment in which the user is operating.
This information is handled through a secure server to insure that the site functions properly and to determine the access and navigation modalities of the user.
Although this information makes it possible to indirectly identify the user by processing the data and connecting it with other third-party data, Enervit handles Web-surfing data anonymously for the sole purpose of improving its services and website.
Information provided voluntarily by the user
The user can also voluntarily provide identifying information in the context of a request for specific information or services.
Specifically, this information may include first name, last name, date of birth, sex, address, telephone number, e-mail address, fax number, profession and information regarding products and services of interest.
Specific information will be reported from time to time or may be viewed on the service request web pages.
Handling of the user’s personal data
The user’s personal data is collected over the Internet and handled electronically in order to carry out requested services or, subject to specific agreement, for statistical or promotional purposes, including via e-mail.
Data collected for this purpose may be communicated to companies that are subsidiaries of Enervit or connected to it, as well as to outside companies and/or professionals managing the site and the user and customer database on behalf of the parent company.
For the above purposes, the information may also be transferred abroad, including outside the territory of the European Union, with the user’s consent.
Although granting use of this data is optional, refusal to provide it may make it impossible to obtain the requested service or information.
Any agreement to allow data handling for purposes other than those strictly connected to providing a service (for example, direct marketing) may be withdrawn at any time.
The rights of the interested party with respect to personal data handling (including the right to cancel any agreement and remove or update information) are outlined below.
