The great American researcher Barry Sears, President of the Inflammation Research Foundation involved in the dissemination of the project EnerZona, the only official product line, recognized exclusively by the inventor of the famous European Zone Diet in the U.S., has just concluded a series of highest level commitments that have seen him busy in Austria.

The European tour of Professor Sears, who had an important premiere in Rome, during the 2010 Science in Nutrition Congress, did so on May 27th at the famous Harry's time in Vienna, where he held an event with invitation only for an audience of pharmacists interested in knowing the EnerZona strategy.

The meeting, started with the lecture of Professor Sears on "Zone and the anti inflammatory diet", was scientific but also practical, thanks to the report of Dr. Gabriela Heger (Practical Introduction to living in the Zone) and explained in a simple and comprehensive way this revolutionary nutritional program based on the hormonal control from food, on the 40-30-30 balancing and of course on low glycemic index and glycemic load.

It was more interesting because it brought in support of the speach of dr. Riccardo Pina, the latest scientific publication - Omega 3 Report - a collection of articles selected and edited by Prof. Enrico Arcelli - on the importance and essentiality of integration with Omega 3 RX combined with the strategy of the Zone.

On May 28th, then, in the institutional home of the scientific and medical Billrothhaus in Vienna, took place the first Austrian Zone Consultant, attended by pharmacists, doctors, nutritionists, biologists but also trainers and coaches. Rich and intense work schedule, which began with the report and welcome of Dr. Markus Metka (also chairmam), which in Austria is president of the Society of Menopause and Andropause and of the Anti Aging Society. The program ended with a report on sports nutrition entitled "The Zone: sports & mindset," by Dr. Christian Wolf,executive coach & mental coach of major international athletes.

We also report that, again on May 28th at the Billrothhaus in Vienna in the afternoon, Barry Sears spoke during the Endocrinologic Symposium with a lecture entitled "Dietary silencing of inflammatory genes".
